Normally we try to stay away from anything remotely political here, but with some of our most beloved fandoms being attacked, this needs to be posted.
Comics and fandoms have always been a haven. They are generally designed and intended to be inclusive. I don’t know how many times I took comfort in the rebel alliance fighting against all odds to defeat tyranny. I remember delving into my Superman comics just to see a vision of the world where the most powerful served those who needed it the most. Lex Luthor was the epitome of greed and corruption. He hated Superman because he was an alien. Yet this is the attitude of many who claim to love Superman from their youth. Superman, Captain America, Captain Kirk, Luke Skywalker, and many others like them stand for the most powerful fighting at all cost to protect those who can’t protect themselves.
